**Job Title:** Maintenance Coordinator
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Coordinator. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of our residential aged care home is carried out efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain a physically safe, well-maintained and secure home environment for residents.
* Execute preventative maintenance programs throughout the residential aged care home.
* Perform reactive repairs on items within the home as needed.
* Manage the coordination of external maintenance contractors as required.
* Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
* Trade certificate or Cert IV in Maintenance/Building services.
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
* Hands-on experience with building maintenance, handyman or building services role.
* Strong understanding of the practical application of workplace health and safety legislation.
* Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families.
* Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents.
* Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
