About the role
Calling all experienced Carpenters Patrick Gibson Building Services is seeking a permanent full-time Carpenter to join our talented team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of insurance, commercial and residential projects, contributing to successful outcomes for our clients, whilst having career growth.
What you'll be doing
* Perform a wide variety of skilled carpentry work
* Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate and compliant work
* Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met
* Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
* Perform general maintenance and repair work as needed
What we're looking for
* Formal trade qualification in Carpentry (Minimum Certificate lll in Carpentry)
* Proven experience as a Carpenter
* Reliable transportation and current drivers licence
* Supplying own tools of the trade is desirable, however not mandatory for the right applicant
* Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to deliver high-quality work
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to precise specifications
* Reliable, adaptable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to workplace health and safety
