This dynamic role supports a business leader in managing the organization and family assets. As a Property Manager and Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of 16 commercial and residential properties.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform financial reconciliation tasks, including handling foreign currency transactions.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, quotations, reconciling petty cash, and processing purchase orders.
* Account to Trial Balance level.
* Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) for submission.
* Provide financial reports to external accountants.
* Handle employee expense reimbursement processing.
* Conduct stock reconciliations.
* Manage payroll and superannuation.
Property Management Duties:
* Oversee property management responsibilities, including lease and contract renewals.
* Manage insurance policies for all 16 properties, both commercial and residential.
* Handle warranty claims and liaise with contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair jobs.
* Procure and evaluate quotes for property-related services.
* Utilize property management software for efficient administration and record-keeping.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain up-to-date property records.
