ELMHS provides a range of mental health services to pregnant mothers, infants, children and adolescents and their families within the Southern Region.
**About the Paediatric Emergency Psychiatric Service (P-EPS)**
The P-EPS is a new initiative for the dedicated mental health assessment of children and adolescents and is the first of its kind outside of the Royal Children's hospital in the State of Victoria. It is designed to provide timely and dedicated assessment of children and adolescents within the new Children's Emergency Department thereby providing a more conducive environment for complex presentations within a bio-psychosocial model.
The service will comprise a multi-disciplinary team from within the Early in Life Mental Health Service Program (ELMHS) including Lived Experience staff and will have synergies with all other ELMHS sub-programs and the inpatient unit.
**About the Role**
An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Administration Support Officer to join the brand new Paediatric Emergency Psychiatric Service (P-EPS) team within Early in Life Mental Health Service (ELMHS).
Your need for variety and to be busy will make this the ideal role for you. This role will give you the opportunity to provide exceptional service to our clients and support the P-EPS team. You will work with a team of busy mental health professionals to provide administration support using a wide range of systems and databases, including:
- Supporting the Information Management needs of the Service including data entry and health information management
- Completing Operational Tasks to support the day-to-day operations of the Service
**About You**
You are a proactive, experienced healthcare administrator who enjoys a fast-paced environment and can work effectively in an autonomous role. Prioritising comes naturally to you and being in a hospital environment you exhibit integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence. You have:
- Minimum of 2 years administrative experience (experience in a mental health setting is desirable)
- Friendly and helpful customer service and communication skills
- Proven organisational skills and can work autonomously
- Demonstrable ability to manage a range of administration responsibilities across a number of areas
- A quality focus whilst ensuring work is completed within the required timeframes
- Ability to travel to all Monash Health Sites
- Standards in thoroughness, accuracy and speed
