**What you'll do**:
Reporting to the General Manager, the role is to perform and direct all operational functions, in relation to a vessels port call as direct by the principal and in accordance with government legislation and regulations, port rules and ISS procedures and policies to ensure an efficient vessel port call.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensuring processes within the Customer Service Team are aligned to Liner Principal, Inchcape and regulatory requirements
- Leading, coaching and performance managing the Customer Service Team
- Supporting sales activity through service delivery to assist the achievement of the Line's targets.
- Promoting and striving for a positive customer service experience at all opportunities
- Ensuring the booking process is effective and aligned with Principal and Inchcape procedures, processes and requirements
- Ensuring documentation and import processes are effective
- Assisting in the resolution and troubleshoot challenging customer accounts
- Working proactively to maximise customer and vendor experience
- Performing reporting for import and export manifest lodgement and daily booking summaries
**Who you are**:
- Tertiary qualifications
- Knowledge of shipping operations
- Fluent in English - both written and spoken
- Ability to work towards a deadline
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- High level of computer literacy
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Previous experience within a management position
- A desire to foster and work within a team committed to service
