The Role
We're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and support the electrical and control systems that drive the products. Working from concept through to fabrication, testing, and installation, you'll apply deep technical understanding and creative problem‑solving to deliver safe, reliable, and innovative systems. Based in the Melbourne office, you'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams – mechanical, software, and fabrication – to ensure seamless design integration.
About You
* A tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Minimum five years' experience in designing automation or control systems for machinery, robotics, or motion applications.
* Highly skilled in EPLAN Electric P8 and / or SolidWorks 3D for electrical design and documentation.
* Strong knowledge of PLCs, servo drives, power distribution, and control system hardware.
* Proven ability to design systems compliant with AS4, ISO, and UL A standards.
* Excellent communicator and proactive collaborator with a hands‑on mindset.
* TÜV functional safety certification or site installation experience highly regarded.
