About the role
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to support and deliver end-to-end Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) services. This role plays a vital part in informing investment decisions, supporting budgeting processes, and ensuring our long-term financial sustainability.
As a key adviser, you will provide financial insights, assist with investment proposal reviews, support budget development, and prepare analysis that empowers senior decision-making across the organisation.
About Business Insights and Excellence
The Business Insights and Excellence group drives operational excellence by enabling best business practices, economic pricing, financial management, supply chain management, and Risk Governance & Assurance to support the broader business and partners in delivering reliable, cost-effective, sustainable, and future-focused outcomes.
In addition, your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in reviewing business initiatives and investment proposals, applying best-practice FP&A principles
* Using financial modelling to assess investment trade-offs and risks
* Supporting the annual budgeting process and monitoring emerging financial issues
* Delivering insightful reporting and presentations to inform business strategy
* Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the FP&A function
* Collaborating across business groups and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships
Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or equivalent experience
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
* Experience in applying FP&A principles within a corporate environment (Desirable)
* Financial systems experience (e.g. Oracle) (Desirable)
* Innovative thinking to support business development initiatives
