**About the Role**
SEE Group have exciting opportunities available for a number of Diesel Fitters to join our highly professional and skilled Fleet and Logistics Team. These are diverse and fast-paced roles with a variety of work scope. These are full-time roles based in South-East Queensland and Northern NSW working on our civil construction projects.
There are also opportunities for 14/7 FIFO work in Northern and Central QLD.
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Ensure all repairs, service and maintenance is being performed to quality standards in compliance with plant specifications, budget, and schedule, as well as the relevant legislation and standards.
- Expedite and coordinate any emergency, delayed or potentially delayed repair and maintenance jobs.
- To promptly close out open work orders and return any surplus parts for credits.
- To ensure all compliance and documentation of scheduled repairs are reported in a timing manner.
- Perform other functions related to the office of the* Diesel Fitter *or as may be requested by the Directors of the business.
**Essential Skills and Attributes**
- Background in Heavy Plant, Mechanical and Electrical processes.
- Clear understanding of excellence in customer service.
- Proven management skills, practices, and planning ability.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and maintaining focus on priorities.
- Highly effective skills in negotiating, evaluating, and administering contracts.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Highly effective planning, organising and problem-solving skills together with the ability to lead, motivate and influence others.
