Licenced Surveyor - Land Development & Subdivisions
The role is a varied, hands‐on position combining office‐based surveying work with field responsibilities. You'll be involved across the full lifecycle of land development projects, from early‐stage subdivision planning through to pegging and delivery on site.
This role is suited to either:
* Licensed Surveyor looking for a land development–focused role.
* Cadet Surveyor with a completed university degree in surveying who is keen to build experience toward registration.
Key responsibilities include:
* Working on subdivision and land development projects.
* Fieldwork including set‐outs, pegging estates and subdivision works.
* Preparation and completion of a broad range of spatial and surveying tasks.
* Project coordination and oversight of survey projects.
* Integration with our Town Planning, Strata and Project Management departments.
* Assisting with high level advisory services from time to time.
* Strong customer focus, with a desire and willingness to generate new business.
* Providing high quality, accurate verbal and written advice to clients; spatial, planning and development related research on industry changes and trends.
* Research and self‐learning of regulations and acts that govern the day‐to‐day activities associated with the role.
* Maintaining project milestones – WFM.
* Carrying out work in a safe manner.
About you:
We're looking for someone who enjoys land development work and is involved both in the field and in the office. You will ideally have:
* Licensed Surveyor accreditation in WA, or
* Tertiary qualification in surveying, spatial science or a related discipline.
* Experience with surveying software and modern survey equipment.
* Experience or strong interest in subdivisions and land development.
* Willingness to work across both site and office environments.
* Strong attention to detail and practical problem‐solving skills.
* Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
