Holcim, a global leader in building materials and solutions, is currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Casual Plant Operator in Fyshwick to provide flexible shift cover at our concrete plant. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who can adapt to varying shift times and enjoys working in an industrial workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and maintaining the concrete batching plant and yard areas
- Operating a front-end loader to load tippers with raw materials
- Loading concrete into agitator (agi) trucks for delivery
- Following all safety, environmental, and company procedures
What We're Looking For:
- Front-end loader ticket/licence
- Experience in a similar environment or operating heavy machinery (preferred)
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently
- Flexible availability to cover day, afternoon, or night shifts as needed
- Willing to complete a drug and alcohol and medical check
Shift Details:
- Standard day shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Varying shifts available depending on operational needs (including nights and weekends)
- Casual role providing shift cover as required
