Donald Swimming Jimboomba is looking for an enthusiastic Swim School Coordinator to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. This position guarantees a minimum of 20 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours.
About the Role
The Swim School Coordinator is responsible for the smooth operation of our swim school and facility. This role involves a balance of customer service, staff management, and hands-on teaching support.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations of the swim school and facility
* Deliver excellent customer service (bookings, emails, phone calls, payments)
* Monitor student attendance, assess progress, and provide feedback to families
* Assist with Learn to Swim, Junior Squads, and School Swimming where required
* Maintain high facility standards, including daily water testing and recording results
* Manage staff rosters, timesheets, and provide cover when needed
* Report directly to Donald Swimming management
Requirements
* Previous swim school experience (teaching from beginners through to junior squad level)
* Current Swimming Teacher qualification
* Current CPR certification
* Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Basic computer literacy (emails, booking systems, records)
* Strong organisational and leadership skills
