Your New Role Are you early in your construction career and ready to dive into hands-on project work? Baby Bunting is on the lookout for a Construction Coordinator to join our Store Development team, supporting the delivery of new store builds and refurbishments across Australia and New Zealand. Why this role matters: We’re growing fast. With plans to expand from 75 to 110 stores, we’re entering our most accelerated growth phase since opening our first store in Balwyn back in 1970. We're introducing smaller-format sites to reach even more families and rolling out our “Store of the Future” concept, showcased in our flagship Maribyrnong store. To support this exciting expansion, we’re significantly growing our Store Development team with nine newly created roles. Each role will play a hands-on part in transforming our store network to better support new parents across Australia and New Zealand. Like what you hear so far? Here’s what’s ahead of you: Assisting the Construction Project Manager in coordinating timelines, milestones and site readiness for each project Supporting the day-to-day coordination of contractors, trades and site services throughout the construction phase Attending site meetings and documenting key actions, issues and updates Maintaining and distributing construction documentation including joinery schedules and drawing sets Assisting with tracking of compliance documentation such as permits, safety paperwork and approvals Coordinating defect lists and supporting site inspections and rectification tracking Helping to manage version control and drawing updates across all active projects Contributing to project documentation including as-built plans, O&M manuals and certifications What we’re looking for: 2 years in a construction coordinator, site administrator or project support role Familiarity with retail fit-outs or commercial construction environments Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and joinery plans Exposure to AutoCAD or similar a bonus Ability to travel to construction sites as needed Qualifications in construction management, drafting or a related field preferred Valid White Card WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU… ✨ We're accelerating our growth across Australia and New Zealand – when we grow, you grow!
