We are a family owned and operated business that specialises in 4WD accessories; in particular ARB 4x4 Accessories. Emerald 4x4 is based in the heart of the Central Highlands servicing an area of approximately 400KM radius.
As a manager you will lead a small team within our retail/workshop operation. Reporting to the Director, you will be backed by sales, admin & workshop staff to ensure all areas of the store operate efficiently and customer service is maintained to a high standard.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has knowledge of the major 4WD vehicles is essential
* Suspension, Mechanical & Auto Electrical knowledge is highly desirable
* Has experience in a retail sales management, preferably in the 4x4 or automotive industry.
* Is experienced in managing small teams, has great time management and organisational skills.
* Be well presented & punctual at all times
* Experience in stock management
* Be able to inspire, motivate & lead your team
* Has strong communication & people skills. Be able to provide exceptional customer service
* Be business minded and have the ability to identify new business opportunities whilst working within budget
You will be responsible for:
* People leadership including recruitment, performance management & coaching.
* Providing exceptional customer service that is targeted and fit for purpose to build & maintain relationships.
* Ensure that all staff are fully trained and equipped with the desired skills and education about the product and sales techniques and continue to monitor their development.
* Achieving store sales targets and goals. Assistance in yearly budgets to ensure upgrades/improvements within the store can be taken care of.
* Maintaining a safe working environment.
* Encouraging and developing a positive and enthusiastic work culture/environment.
* Managing instore customer enquires and bookings
* Allocation of workshop activities and tasks to the team
* Inventory management
Salary Package:
This will be a full-time position. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm with an hour for lunch. Saturdays 8:30am to 12pm on an alternating roster. Overtime paid accordingly. Your salary will be determined based on experience and may include a company work vehicle with a complete ARB fit-out.
