This role requires hardware configuration, security controls implementation, and an understanding of Cyber Security Risk Management, controls frameworks for risk assessment, and controls scoping. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network hardware systems and security architecture and engineering concepts, enabling effective design, implementation, and maintenance of robust, efficient, and secure solutions.Collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and test hardware components.Conduct architecture reviews for complex hardware systems, including infrastructure/servers and network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.Perform configuration benchmarking and hardening for devices, servers, and cloud platforms.Work with the team to design new network solutions.Conduct security assessments and gap analysis against industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks). Develop remediation plans to address vulnerabilities.
