About the role
A high profile program of work is occuring within a federal government client, largely focused on the modernisation of both they systems & IT practices.
The delivery manager is there to facilitate the delivery of streams of the program. There is a lot of complexity involved in the delivery: there is a long list of stakeholders that need to be engaged and managed, data integrity is utterly critical as they migrate to new systems, there are many interdependencies embedded in the program, the business is adopting agile/cloud/DevOps space wholesale, and the program is high visibility & running on tight deadlines.
Hence there is significant pressure on this role - ensuring the stakeholders are happy, the interdependencies are managed, risks are being mitigated and the tech teams are on top of their work and meeting their deadlines.
So what does the ideal canidate bring to the table?
* The ability to engage, manage & influence stakeholders is critical.
* A proven track record delivering large & complex programs of work which incoporated interdependencies
* Ideally the title Delivery Manager, but we're also interested in talking to senior PMs and Program Managers
* Experience working with Agile, DevOps & Public cloud platfroms. Experience with SAFe would b very highly regarded
* A hsitory of delivering in government environments
* baseline security clearance (or higher) - THIS IS ESSENTIAL
