Document Controller – Major Infrastructure Project | Newcastle, NSW
We're looking for an experienced Document Controller to support a busy design team delivering one of Newcastle's key infrastructure projects.
This is a three-month contract with the potential to extend depending on project workload — ideal for someone who's confident managing high volumes of technical documentation in a fast-paced project environment.
The Role
You'll be responsible for:
* Managing project document control systems, registers, and filing (digital and hard copy)
* Coordinating document reviews, approvals, and submissions to internal and external stakeholders
* Ensuring all documentation meets project formatting, version control, and compliance standards
* Maintaining storage, archiving, and confidentiality of project and organisational records
* Supporting the wider project team with document control systems and procedures
About You
* 3–5 years' experience in document control within engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects
* Strong understanding of document management systems (Aconex experience highly regarded)
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confident managing workflows, deadlines, and stakeholder communication
* Advanced computer skills and familiarity with project management systems
