Yabby Dam Farms, a leading Thoroughbred/Standardbred stud, is seeking a reliable individual for the position of Bookkeeper/Graduate Accountant/Office Management. This role is a full-time position based in the farm offices, located 10 minutes from Ballarat. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed person who is eager to expand their skill set and progress their financial accounting skills by providing support with general accounting tasks.
Responsibilities
Invoicing/billing tasks
Reconciliations
Creditors and debtors payments
Organising various quotes for the purchase, hire or repairs of office equipment as required
Equine facility management and general office duties as required (industry experience would be highly regarded)
Qualifications
Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (or 80%+ completed) as a minimum.
Advanced Excel, Xero and Prism skills
High attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to organise tasks and provide timely outcomes
A Permanent Residency or Australian citizenship as this is a full-time permanent position.
