About the Role
This position involves leading demand forecasting processes for products across various portfolios.
* Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts in collaboration with Sales and Product teams.
* Ensure alignment with agreed Latest Estimate (LE) Sales forecasts, covering Active, New Product Development (NPD), End-Of-Life products, and clearance of Slow Moving and Obsolete Stock (SLOBS).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead monthly demand forecasting review process.
2. Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to align with monthly Sales Latest Estimate (LE) forecast.
3. Update demand forecasts in Anaplan as per agreed monthly planning cycles.
4. Review Demand Forecast Accuracy (DFA) monthly and build action plans for variances.
5. Work closely with the Sales and Product teams to adjust Demand Forecasts.
6. Support the Demand Lead in the Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) process by completing detailed demand forecasts and accuracy reporting.
7. Assist in scenario planning and risk management during Post Seasonal Reviews (PSRs), New Product Development (NPD) planning, and SLOB reviews.
8. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the demand planning processes.
9. Ensure forecast changes incorporate customer, market, and sales history data.
10. Provide detailed reporting for the S&OP review process.
Requirements
This role requires a strong background in demand planning or related planning roles, preferably with experience in supporting office national roles and leading S&OP processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, be highly organized, and detail-oriented. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with good negotiation skills and the ability to influence outcomes.
