About the Project The Stations Alliance North team, comprising John Holland, Arup, and KBR, is delivering the transformative Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) East WP-F package. The Alliance will build world‐class underground stations at Glen Waverley, Burwood and Box Hill, featuring fully accessible, light‐filled spaces with retail and dining options and a Green Star rating of at least 5 stars.About the Role As a Senior Project Engineer, you will lead the delivery of the Mock Up Centre (MUC) facility, resolving Architectural Common Elements and coordinating procurement and construction activities. You will ensure safe, efficient, and cost‐effective execution of engineering functions on the SRL project.ResponsibilitiesManage on‐site engineering functions, including Project Engineers and Cost/Planning Engineers.Obtain and incorporate relevant design parameters into detailed designs and construction specifications.Monitor quality and quantities of incoming equipment and material, verify work drawings against site plans, and arrange corrections where necessary.Coordinate engineering team activities, program work loads, and provide technical and administrative guidance to ensure objectives are achieved efficiently.Ensure project engineering completion is on time and within budget, recording completed work, costs, materials, and progress drawings.Deliver accurate cost forecasts and utilize corrective action in line with authority and reporting frameworks to maximise profit margin.Assign work and review supplier and subcontractor quotations, purchase orders, and arrangements for compliance with required standards.Plan future requirements including machine tools, ancillary equipment, major plant and labour, and conduct site surveys and preparatory work prior to construction.Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and planning authorities to ensure satisfactory completion of structures and construction work.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Building Construction or equivalent.Diploma of Project Management in Engineering Science, Building, Construction or equivalent.Master's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.ExperienceDemonstrated postgraduate engineering experience in a site‐based role.Experience on large‐scale infrastructure and rail projects.Project Engineer and operational experience.Advanced commercial acumen including cost reduction and budget attainment.Delivery of major projects and teams to program and budget specifications.Understanding of the Quality Management Plan, Safety Management Plan, Environmental Management Plan and Projects Design Management Plan.#J-18808-Ljbffr
