Due to the continuing growth across an array of projects, our Roads team has a great opportunity for a like-minded **Traffic Modeller **to join the business in any one of our offices across our **Northern NSW **region. This role can be appointed on a **full time **or **part time **basis.
Working on a variety of projects as a key member of the Roads team you will be involved in:
- Multi-disciplinary regional and city-shaping transport projects;
- Providing transport modelling support to a wide range of exciting projects within your local region, Australia and New Zealand;
- The continual development of both GHD's and your own traffic modelling capability working with the team to collaboratively identify innovative solutions for our clients;
- Preparing high quality technical work, reports and proposals for our clients; and
- Mentoring and coaching of junior team members.
**What you will bring to the team**:
- Degree qualified and experienced in transport modelling with typically 2 to 5 years' experience
- Good working knowledge and demonstrated project experience of transport modelling using SIDRA, AIMSUN and/or VISSIM
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience in transport modelling software such as EMME or VISUM
- Experience in scripting and programming (Python or R) would be beneficial but not essential
