About the role
The Gyprock Trade Warehouse Operatoris a Full-time position, based at Alexandria, NSW. Reporting to the Store Manager you will join our Gyprock Trade Centre, andyou will be delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the warehouse.
In this role you will:
* Provide exceptional customer service for all our customers
* To assist in the day-to-day activities within the store
* Stock movements and the maintenance of stock
* Loading trucks with customer orders for distribution and comply with safety requirements
* Unloading inbound orders of stock
* Serving customers in the warehouse part of the store, e.g. loading customers vehicles with a forklift or manually as required.
* Ensuring documentation, labelling and presentation of product is adhered to
* Warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping
Your hours are Mon–Fri, 8 hours a day. Shifts: 5am–1pm, 6am–2pm, or 7am–3pm. Saturday work may be added later and will be paid as overtime.
About you:
* A current forklift licence with sufficient experience is essential.
* Ability to lift and move heavy products as required (manual handling involved).
* A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment.
* A strong work ethic and commitment to safety procedures are essential.
* Strong communication skills and listening skills, with the ability to build relationships
