Workshop Track Assembly Machine Operator
The Role
We are looking for a Track Assembly Machine Operator to assist in Dozer and Excavator Track Assembly and Disassembly at our new workshop in Yatala, Queensland. The ideal candidate will have experience using power tools and working in a workshop environment.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, reliable, punctual, and have an eye for detail. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive package with occasional overtime. Workshop hours are 7.00 am till 3.30 pm Monday to Friday.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Operate heavy machinery and tooling including angle grinders, impact and hydraulic torque wrenches and presses.
Follow safe work procedures and guidelines at all times.
Work cohesively as part of a team to complete projects in a timely manner.
Repair and refurbish earthmoving undercarriage components.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop.
Qualifications
A current forklift licence is required for this role.
The ability to use an oxy-acetylene cutting torch would be beneficial.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in earthmoving undercarriage repairs is highly desirable.
A valid driver's licence.
