About the Role
Are you passionate about design and love helping people bring their dream homes to life?
We're looking for a creative, customer-focused Interior Designer / Colour Consultant to join our vibrant Selection Showroom team.
This is your chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the look and feel of our clients' new homes and guiding them through exciting design choices while delivering an exceptional, memorable experience.
This position is full time Tuesday – Saturday and is based in our Selection Showroom at Varsity Lakes.
Enjoy early finishes: 4pm Fridays & 10am–3.30pm Saturdays.
As the face of our Selection Showroom, you'll work closely with clients to curate the interior and exterior finishes for their new homes. From colour palettes to product selections, you'll combine creativity with practicality to help clients feel confident in every decision. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing client consultations, showroom presentation, and administrative tasks, while delivering standout service at every touchpoint.
What You'll Be Doing
* Guide clients through colour schemes, finishes, and product selections for their homes
* Create a welcoming, inspiring showroom environment that reflects our brand
* Manage client appointments and complete selection documentation with accuracy
* Build strong relationships and provide a high-end, personalised customer experience
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, trends, and building processes
* Host showroom tours for Saturday visitors
* Support a collaborative team environment while confidently working independently
What We're Looking For
* A genuine passion for building, interior design and current trends
* Qualifications in Interior Design/Decoration or similar (or studying)
* Experience with a residential builder or supplier (advantageous, not essential)
* A polished, professional presence with strong interpersonal skills
* Confidence in working with clients and guiding decision-making
* Exceptional organisation, attention to detail, and time management
* Ability to juggle multiple clients and deadlines in a fast-paced setting
* Strong administrative skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Framework experience a plus)
