The Role ::
Technical SEO & Website Optimisation
Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits — site speed, crawl budget, indexability, Core Web Vitals, schema markup and mobile optimisation
Identify and resolve crawlability and site architecture issues, working directly with our development team to see fixes through to completion
Implement and maintain structured data, XML sitemaps, configurations and canonical strategies
Monitor and optimise Core Web Vitals, page load performance and AMP where applicable
On-Page SEO & Content Strategy
Develop keyword strategies rooted in search intent and revenue potential — not just volume
Optimise meta tags, headings (H1/H2), internal linking structures, URL architecture and on-page content across client websites
Build keyword clusters and scalable content calendars aligned with CRO principles and E-E-A-T guidelines
Collaborate with content and creative teams to produce work that ranks, resonates and converts
Guide content briefs, topic mapping and content gap analysis to capture high-value organic opportunities
Off-Page SEO & Link Building
Build and execute ethical, sustainable link acquisition strategies — guest posting, digital PR and outreach campaigns
Develop relationships with publishers, editors and high-authority brands to earn quality backlinks
Manage citation building and local link strategies for clients with physical locations
Monitor backlink profiles, disavow toxic links and protect domain authority
Analytics, Reporting & Integration
Set up and manage GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and reporting dashboards
Deliver clear, commercially relevant reporting — tying SEO performance to traffic, conversions and revenue
Integrate SEO insights with paid search (Google Ads) and paid social (Meta Ads) for full-funnel visibility
Conduct ongoing competitor analysis and SEO performance monitoring to stay ahead of algorithm shifts and market changes
Who We're Looking For ::
4+ years of hands-on SEO experience across technical, on-page and off-page — ideally agency-side
Proven results: you can show organic traffic growth, ranking improvements and revenue impact with real numbers
Deep technical knowledge — you understand crawl budget, indexation, structured data and Core Web Vitals at a practical level, not just conceptual
Strong content strategy skills — you can develop keyword clusters, guide briefs and collaborate with writers to produce content that performs
Demonstrated link building expertise — ethical, sustainable strategies that actually move the needle
Proficiency with GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs and Screaming Frog (bonus: SurferSEO, Clearscope)
Experience with WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce or Webflow from an SEO perspective
You understand that rankings are only part of the picture — conversions and commercial outcomes matter more
Strong communication skills — you can translate SEO recommendations into language clients and stakeholders understand
Organised, detail-oriented and genuinely great to work with
Desirable but not essential:
Experience with local SEO, international SEO or large-scale eCommerce SEO
Familiarity with Google Ads and Meta Ads integration alongside organic strategy
Experience with AI tools for content planning, research or SGE/AEO optimisation
Knowledge of CRO and conversion optimisation principles
Experience mentoring junior team members
