About the opportunity
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join the People & Culture team in a 12-month fixed term contract (maternity leave backfill). This is a fast paced, hands-on role ideal for someone who can confidently step in, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver high-quality people outcomes.
In this role you will:
- Provide high-level strategic and operational HR advice across a varied portfolio
- Manage complex employee relations matters including misconduct and performance
- Partner with leaders to enhance leadership capability and team culture
- Deliver insights and support through data-led workforce planning and projects

About you
You are an experienced HR practitioner with a business partnering mindset and a passion for driving positive cultural and organisational change.
To be successful you will have:
- A relevant degree and ideally four years' experience in a senior HR role, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Proven experience in HR Business Partnering role, ideally within complex or matrixed environments
- Sound knowledge of employee relations, change management and workforce planning
- The ability to influence and coach senior stakeholders, building strong, trusted relationships
Salary and benefits

- Full-time, fixed term (12 Months) continuing
- Located at either Gold Coast, QLD 4225, or Lismore, NSW 2480.
- HEW Level 8. The base salary ranges from $116,672 – 128,651 per annum, plus 17% employer's contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $150,521.67. The level of appointment will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
