The Opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager, you will provide essential administrative and financial support to keep day-to-day processes running smoothly and efficiently. This is a hands-on, fully onsite role within a practical operating environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, billing, debt collection, and accounting functions across two related business entities;
* Processing payroll for a small workforce across multiple awards using MYOB;
* Performing daily bank reconciliations and support cash flow monitoring;
* Overseeing insurance reviews and regulatory compliance, including transport-related requirements;
* Maintaining customer and supplier relationships and respond to finance-related enquiries;
* Coordinating WHS and HR administration, including record-keeping and reporting;
* Supporting general office operations and day-to-day administrative needs; and
* Developing a working understanding of the business to assist with customer service.

You will bring a high level of trust and reliability to the role, combined with a structured, process-driven approach and strong attention to detail. You will bring strong customer service and interpersonal skills that enable you to build and maintain positive relationships with both customers and suppliers. You are naturally inquisitive and motivated to understand the business and its operations, allowing you to provide well-informed and practical support.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience managing accounts payable and receivable, including timely debt collection;
* Ability to process payroll using MYOB
* Demonstrated experience using an ERP (experience with Odoo highly advantageous);
* Experience handling insurance, compliance, and regulatory documentation;
* Strong reconciliation skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail;
* Willingness to learn the business, support customer service activities, and demonstrate a reliable, committed, and proactive work ethic.
