We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Disability Support Workers (Aussie) to join our growing team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities by promoting independence, empowerment, and social inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide person-centred support to individuals with physical, intellectual, or psychosocial disabilities
* Assist clients with daily living tasks including personal care, mobility, meal preparation, and medication assistance
* Support participants in accessing the community, engaging in social and recreational activities, and attending appointments
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and progress notes
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals involved in the participant's care
Requirements:
* Previous experience in disability support or a similar role (preferred)
* Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) or relevant qualification
* Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Working With Children Check
* Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support others
