Digital Experience Project Lead

This high-profile position demands a proven track record in managing complex digital projects, with a strong background in working with offshore delivery teams. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution of Adobe Commerce and AEM programmes, while maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships and driving commercial growth.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of agile and waterfall delivery methodologies, as well as experience in SOW management and change control. Strong communication and relationship management skills are essential for building trust with senior stakeholders and ensuring successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
* Client Leadership
o Act as the primary point of contact for enterprise clients implementing Adobe platforms, providing expert guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
o Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, proactive issue management, and alignment to client goals.
* Project Delivery
o Lead planning, execution, and governance for projects, ensuring scope, budget, and timelines are clearly defined and maintained.
o Translate complex technical delivery into clear client updates and decisions, demonstrating a high level of commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
o Own delivery RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs and proactively resolve blockers, ensuring smooth project progress and minimizing risk.
* Global Coordination
o Serve as the primary link between Australian clients and our offshore delivery centres, managing distributed teams and ensuring offshore resources are fully aligned to scope, priorities, and standards.
o Maintain accountability for effective collaboration across time zones and cultures, fostering a culture of transparency and open communication.
* Commercial & Quality Ownership
o Uphold margin discipline by ensuring delivery matches agreed scope and budgets, monitoring effort vs. budget and flagging risks early.
o Safeguard quality, ensuring work meets Adobe standards and maintaining the highest levels of delivery reputation.
Required Experience
* Proven track record (5+ years) in digital project or programme management, ideally in a consulting or agency environment.
* Direct experience delivering Adobe Commerce and/or AEM projects, preferably enterprise-scale.
* Strong background in working with offshore delivery teams – balancing local client expectations with global delivery models.
* Experience in enterprise RFPs, project governance, and reporting at Exec level.
* Solid understanding of agile and waterfall delivery methodologies, SOW management, and change control.
* Excellent stakeholder communication and relationship management skills.
* Commercial acumen – ability to track budgets, protect margins, and negotiate with confidence.
Desirable Skills
* Familiarity with Adobe Campaign, Target, or broader Adobe Experience Cloud stack.
* Exposure to Shopify or other DXP/eCommerce platforms.
* Background in digital consulting, solution design, or pre-sales support.
* PRINCE2, PMP, or Scrum Master certification (not essential, but valued).
