About the Role – Child and Family Health Nurse/Midwife - Secondment
As a Child and Family Health Nurse/Midwife, you will play a vital role in supporting families during the early stages of parenthood. Working Monday to Friday, typically between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm, you will provide both in-home and clinic-based care tailored to the needs of each family.
Your work will involve conducting home visits following the birth of a baby, followed by ongoing clinic appointments to complete milestone checks outlined in the Personal Health Record. Beyond clinical assessments, you will offer holistic guidance and support to parents, including breastfeeding advice, assistance with sleep and settling, and tailored parenting strategies.

Requirements
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Successful completion of Child and Family Health nurse qualification or near completion which is recognised.
- Eligible to drive in NSW and ability to travel for work purposes.
