We're on the lookout for a highly skilled professional to take on a challenging role as a Senior Contract Administrator. This individual will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers. They will also be involved in preparing packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules, and planning actions.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintaining proactive and positive relationships with all stakeholders.
* Preparing and managing documents, including packages, scopes, lettings, and procurement schedules.
* Coordinating actions and ensuring compliance with the Head Contract.
* Taking ownership of costs and budget outcomes, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of project financials at all times.
* Supporting the Project Manager and Site Manager in managing requests for information (RFIs) from subcontractors.
* Ensuring project document control meets contract requirements, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
* Developing budget targets, identifying key risks and opportunities for best commercial outcomes in consultation with the Project Manager.
* Managing cost control software, including budget entry, commitments, forecasting, variations, payments, and coding of invoices.
* Assisting in preparing required reports for monthly project meetings, proactively advising on new risks, opportunities, or changes, and participating in strategic discussions.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to drive outcomes.
* Influence and build commercially beneficial relationships with all project stakeholders.
* Act decisively with an ability to problem solve.
* Prior experience working for a commercial builder delivering projects of similar size and nature.
