Summary of Position An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Program Manager – Home Care to take on a key leadership role in Bendigo. This position is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality, person-centred home care and respite services to older people living in the community. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure compliance with aged care standards, and drive service excellence while managing resources effectively. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and support to Home Care and Respite teams to deliver consumer-directed services. Oversee assessment, care planning, and service delivery to promote independence and wellbeing for older people. Monitor budgets and financial performance while exploring opportunities for service growth. Ensure compliance with aged care quality standards, risk management frameworks, and regulatory requirements. Lead accreditation, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous service development. Build positive relationships with clients, families, carers, and referral partners. Promote a supportive team culture with a focus on professional development and collaboration. Key Requirements Tertiary qualifications in management, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven leadership and operational management experience within health, aged care, or community services. Strong knowledge of assessment, care planning, and service delivery in community aged care. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Experience in financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation. Understanding of compliance, risk management, and accreditation processes. Current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
