🌿 Diploma Educator – Full Time

Monterosso Early Learning is seeking an experienced, values-led Diploma-qualified Educator to join our small, highly dedicated team in beautiful Red Hill.
This is a full-time role (4 or 5 days) working across our 3YO and 4YO kindergarten studios, supporting children aged 3–5 years through a high-quality, inquiry-based program grounded in relationships, emotional wellbeing and inclusive practice.
This position offers flexible scheduling options with the opportunity to work either 4 or 5 days per week.
We are an Exceeding-rated service with strong educational leadership, and we are intentionally seeking an educator who brings both warmth and professional depth.
About Monterosso
Monterosso is a boutique, family-owned kindergarten for 44 children, delivering funded 3YO and 4YO programs. We are known in our community for our thoughtful environments, strong teaching team, and the way we prioritise children's emotional development and sense of belonging.

About the Role
You will:
* Work alongside our teachers and educators to deliver a high-quality kindergarten program
* Support children's social and emotional development, including guiding children through big feelings in calm and respectful ways
* Contribute meaningfully to planning, reflection and documentation
* Help maintain a nurturing, inclusive and well-organised learning environment
* Build warm, professional relationships with families
* Uphold Exceeding practice aligned with the NQF and EYLF
This is not a supervision-only role. We are looking for an educator who is engaged, reflective and actively contributes to the team.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking someone who:
* Holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)
* Has at least 5 years' experience working with kindergarten-aged children
* Ideally has experience in a high-quality / Exceeding service
* Brings a calm, emotionally mature presence to the room
* Understands behaviour as communication and feels confident supporting children through dysregulation
* Values reflective practice, consistency and shared team language
* Works collaboratively and contributes positively to a strong team culture
* Is organised, reliable and committed to high standards
* Is open to feedback, mentoring and ongoing professional growth
* Must be an Australian citizen
