We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join our team.
You will make outbound sales calls to your own portfolio of Peters Ice Cream customers. You will take orders, offer promotions and new products, answer inbound customer enquiries and support the team with administrative tasks and email inboxes. Support with the initial onboarding of new customers and liaise with the field sales team to maximise your customers' sales and profitability.
This is a full-time, permanent position, offering the opportunity to earn generous sales incentives as well as scope for future development into areas such as field sales. You will be based at our national head office in Mulgrave, which offers ample free parking, and on-site staff shop & staff canteen.
We're looking for someone who can dive into the role and embrace our spirit of "what if?" This means you proactively seek out opportunities to maximise sales, take accountability for your KPIs and targets, strive to be the best you can, and embrace new ideas, approaches and opportunities as the business evolves and grows.
To be short listed for this position, you will be able to demonstrate:
· Previous experience in a customer-focussed sales role, ideally gained in a contact centre/telesales team
· A natural ability to engage & develop rapport with customers and field team
· A bright, bubbly personality with the ability & confidence to upsell
· A strong desire to meet and exceed KPIs & targets
· Excellent written & verbal communication skills
· A high attention to detail
· Reliability and consistency
