Position: Automotive Technician

Salary: $76,515 to $80,000 plus superannuation per annum

Our client is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join their team located in Kent Town, South Australia.
As an Automotive Technician you will be responsible for performing diagnostic, repair and maintenance tasks on a variety of vehicles, with a focus on Jaguar, Land Rover and VAG brands.
The role ensures that all work is completed to manufacturer standards and company’s high-quality expectations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using specialised tools and diagnostic equipment.
Perform scheduled servicing, safety inspections, and preventative maintenance.
Repair or replace defective parts and components including engines, transmissions, suspension, braking, and electrical systems.
Carry out road tests and quality checks to confirm work has been completed to required standards.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts, and service notes.
Follow manufacturer specifications and workshop procedures.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding progress and additional repair needs.
Contribute to maintaining a clean, organised, and professional workshop environment.
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum 1 year of industry experience as an Automotive Technician.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in modern vehicle diagnostic and repair equipment.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality outcomes.
Prior experience working on Jaguar, Land Rover and VAG brands is preferred.
Qualifications
Certificate IV in Automotive Technology (or equivalent).
