We are growing and looking for a highly skilled Senior Trail Builder / Machine Operator to join our core team based in Jindabyne.

About the Role
This is a key hands-on role delivering professional trail construction projects in varied and often remote environments. You will be responsible for:
* Operating excavators and other plant for trail construction
* Building and shaping high-quality MTB and walking trails
* Working in alpine and remote locations
* Problem-solving on site and contributing to project delivery
* Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and environmental care
* Working effectively as part of a skilled, tight-knit team
This is a full-time position for the right candidate — we are looking for someone who wants a long-term role, not just a short-term contract.

Essential Criteria
To be considered, you must have:
* Demonstrated experience as a machine operator in MTB and/or walking trail construction
* A strong understanding of sustainable trail building techniques
* A valid driver's licence
* Willingness to travel for work across south-eastern Australia
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a professional team

The following will strengthen your application:
* MR truck licence or above
* Experience with remote area logistics
* Experience working with NPWS, councils, or other land managers
* Additional plant tickets or construction-related qualifications
