Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career with a forward-thinking organization while building and maintaining strong client relationships within the civil infrastructure sector.
You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales efforts, exceptional customer service, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, develop, and pursue new sales opportunities within the civil infrastructure market
* Present the organisation's value proposition to prospective clients, articulating our competitive advantages and product benefits
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, conducting regular client visits
* Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations
* Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
* Maintain accurate sales records & customer data
* Meet or exceed agreed sales KPIs and revenue targets
* Attend industry events and conferences to identify new business opportunities and market developments
* Collaborate with the marketing team on the development of sales and marketing materials
* Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure smooth delivery, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction
* Provide regular feedback to management on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
* Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or related industries
* Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Experience using Reckon desirable but not essential.
* Demonstrated data analysis skills, including experience with spreadsheets and sales reporting
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet revenue targets
* Proven ability to meet or exceed sales KPIs
* Full driver's license with willingness to travel to client locations as required
* Professional presentation and strong customer service mindset
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a manufacturing environment
Desirable Qualifications
* Knowledge of civil infrastructure products and applications
* Experience in the precast concrete or construction materials sector
* Understanding of civil engineering principles and project requirements
* Natural leadership qualities with experience mentoring and building relationships
