Desktop Network Support Specialist
This role is responsible for delivering high-quality technical support to end-users on desktop and laptop infrastructure, including hardware and software issues.
The successful candidate will be able to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems in a timely and efficient manner.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Provide expert technical assistance for desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other peripherals.
o Support Wintel, Networking, Storage, Audio Visual Systems, Video Conferencing facilities, and other devices.
o Coordinate with suppliers to resolve incidents or service requests.
o Perform on-site activities, including physical and environmental checks, rebooting devices, and providing escort or onsite assistance to support teams.
o Diagnose and correct malfunctions and failures of equipment installed at designated service locations.
o Assist with end-user configuration of new multi-function devices (MFDs) or additional printing peripherals.
o Facilitate access for approved external personnel to site computer rooms subject to restricted access.
* Requirements:
o Valid driver's license and ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
o Ability to work over the weekend or on public holidays as required by customer stakeholders.
o Good communication and interpersonal skills.
o Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
