Governance & Compliance Service is seeking a highly motivated team player in who will take an active role in organisational governance, compliance, and transparency. This role involves working within a small team of specialists who manage applications for Council-held information under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, as well as, working in administration, policy development, compliance, and privacy compliance projects.
The successful applicant will be experienced in administration, customer service, negotiation, and complaint handling. They will be computer literate, adaptable to changing priorities, and have research and analytical skills, including demonstrated ability to apply legislation. Strong time management skills are essential, as is the ability to prepare and review complex documents and reports
The jobholder requires demonstrated experience in high-level administration, advanced computer literacy, and demonstrated experience in complex customer service. Jobs at this level require a wide education, probably including technical proficiency in a specialised area, University Bachelor degree or equivalent or extensive business experience, and extensive experience in a relevant or similar role.

Remuneration: base salary commencing at $89,144 gross per annum
+ 12% superannuation
+ performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary
+ annual award increase
