**Lead Dance Coach - Education & Training
**
This role presents an opportunity to design, deliver and refine a high-performance dance program that fosters technical mastery, artistic expression and discipline in aspiring dancers.
The successful candidate will lead by example, inspiring excellence in dance and providing personalized coaching, feedback and performance strategies to help elite dancers and athletes achieve at the highest level.
A key aspect of this role is planning, coordinating and leading extracurricular events, competitions and productions that celebrate student talent across multiple dance genres.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Coach and mentor top-performing students to help them achieve their full potential.
2. Champion performance opportunities for students, showcasing their talent through various events and productions.
3. Foster a culture of aspiration and resilience among students, preparing them for future pathways in elite performance, tertiary study or careers in the arts.
4. Engage with the community and industry partners to enrich the dance program with contemporary practice and real-world connections.
5. Model leadership and professionalism, upholding high expectations for student conduct and work ethic.
Requirements:
* A relevant teaching qualification.
* Full or provisional Queensland teacher registration.
* Australian working rights or a valid visa.
