About The Opportunity
Our client is a well-established Melbourne construction company with a strong track record delivering premium multi-residential projects across Victoria. We're partnering with them to appoint an experienced Contract Administrator to support the project team.
The Role
Working closely with the Project Manager and Commercial Lead, you will play a key role in managing all contractual and financial aspects of the project. This role will suit a commercially minded CA who enjoys structure, systems, and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, administer, and manage subcontracts, variations, progress claims, and contractual documentation.
Assist in procurement, tender evaluations, and negotiating with subcontractors.
Maintain cost control, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Manage change control processes and monitor contractual risk.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure contractual obligations are met.
Support payment schedules, claims, retention, and final accounts.
Maintain accurate records, registers, and contract administration systems.
About You
3+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator.
Previous exposure on similar multi-residential projects $20M+.
Strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of contract law and construction contracts.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Tertiary qualifications in construction, quantity surveying, law, or related discipline.
