We're looking for our next hospitality/coffee experts who are devoted to bringing the best tasting experience to our customers. Our newest Senior Barista will have the opportunity to make this space their own and bring a new flare to our FOH. Barista experience is a must for both roles.
Butterken Bakery is a passionate bakery dedicated to handcrafting sourdough bread and serving great coffee. We use local ingredients and work in a beautiful, open production space. Making great bread and coffee is what we do :)

Your day-to-day:
* Dial in the perfect recipe to taste, keeping the coffee quality exceptional throughout the day
* Add some personality behind the coffee machine (how good does it feel when your barista loves what they do)
* Lend a daily hand to our FOH team through serving customers, operating POS, cleaning, restocking, daily cash-ups etc.
* Act as a pillar for our FOH team and work closely with management to ensure processes and operations are running consistently and smoothly on the daily
Coffee Details:
* Equipment: LaMazzoco Classic 2g, Anfim SP2 coffee grinder
* Roaster: Commonfolk Coffee
* Approx. 25-30kg per week
Must-haves:
* Minimum 1 year of barista experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Love and passion for all things coffee and bread We see this role as a career, not a just stop along the way.
* Availability Tuesday-Saturday (No Sun-Mon work required)
* Genuinely love interacting with people
