Teaching Academic Position in Nursing
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to fill the role of a Teaching Academic within our School of Nursing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of curriculum.
Key responsibilities include:
* Designing and delivering engaging teaching sessions that cater to diverse learning needs
* Mentoring and supporting colleagues to enhance their teaching skills
* Participating in curriculum development and review processes to ensure alignment with industry standards
* Collaborating with other academics to develop innovative teaching methods and strategies
The ideal candidate will possess a doctoral qualification in a relevant field, have a strong understanding of pedagogical theory, and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Selection criteria include:
* A doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent accreditation and professional standing
* Demonstrated high-level teaching skills and a reflective approach to teaching delivery
* A strong understanding of pedagogical theory and contemporary educational practice
* An emerging record of contribution to scholarship in teaching
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
