The Treasury Controls Office (TCO) plays a pivotal role in enabling the success of Group Treasury by safeguarding our business, providing clear insights, and delivering innovative, data-driven solutions. We partner closely with the Group Treasurer and wider Group Treasury teams to deliver proactive, best-in-class non-financial risk management, spanning Operational, Compliance, and Conduct Risk.
Our teams: Line 1 Operational Risk and Regulatory Change & Conduct Risk, work together to help Group Treasury navigate a fast-moving regulatory landscape with confidence. We combine deep risk expertise with modern tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, and AI-assisted analytics to elevate the way Treasury manages risk.
What We Focus On
Embedding the Group’s Operational, Compliance, and Conduct Risk frameworks within Group TreasuryProviding trusted risk advice that helps the business operate safely and effectivelyManaging the changes in Group Treasury’s risk profile, whether it be driven from new regulation, line 2 and audit reviews or changes in business activity.Driving process improvements, automation and productivity uplift.
Do Work That Matters
As a Manager in the Regulatory Change & Conduct Risk team, you will help shape how Group Treasury manages its compliance and conduct risks.

In This Role, You Will:
Strengthen Group Treasury’s governance framework, leading policy implementation, improving controls, simplifying procedures, and supporting peers through training and stakeholder engagementIdentify and deliver process improvements, using data, automation, and digital tools wherever possibleLead Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) and Compliance Self-Assessments (CSAs), providing high-quality insights that drive actionManage the implementation of regulatory change; ensuring obligations are understood, embedded, and effectively controlledCoordinate regulatory and remediation activities across ASIC, ASX, APRA, CFTC, and NFABuild strong relationships across Group Treasury and beyond; this is a role where communication and influence matter.
We’d Love to Hear From People Who:
Bring experience in operational risk and/or compliance within banking or financial servicesCommunicate clearly and confidently; from policy writing to simplifying complex themes for senior audiencesDemonstrate strong attention to detail while managing multiple prioritiesHave experience or enthusiasm for using AI, automation, and analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, Power Automate, Tableau) to enhance risk managementAre curious, innovative, and keen to experiment with new ways of workingEnjoy problem-solving, continuous improvement, and getting to the root causeContribute actively to a strong, collaborative team cultureBring a proactive risk mindset, identifying, understanding, challenging, and acting on risks.
