Account Executive (AE) — B2B SaaS

Base pay range: A$220,000 - A$250,000 per year

We're not looking for junior reps.

We're not looking for order-takers.

We're looking for

Account Executives who know how to run strong discovery, deliver sharp demos, and close deals consistently.

Qualified inbound leads.

Marketing push supporting lead gen.

SDRs booking meetings on your calendar.

A product customers have to buy.


Who are we?

IdU Identification is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company helping bars, nightclubs, casinos, pubs, clubs, and other compliance-heavy businesses solve identity, security, and regulatory problems.

We operate across Australia, New Zealand, and the US, and we've recently launched a new Australian product driven by legal and compliance requirements, with two additional products launching in early 2024.

This isn't a "nice-to-have" platform. This is a must-have solution for thousands of businesses that are legally required to comply.


That means:

* Massive market
* Urgent buyer pain
* Shorter sales cycles
* High close rates for good AEs

We currently have more qualified leads than our existing sales team can handle, which is why we're scaling and preparing for properly — marketing, multiple SDRs, and now additional Account Executives.


What you'll be doing

This is a true closing role, roughly 50% inbound / 50% outbound, supported by SDRs and marketing.

* Run high-quality demos with qualified decision-makers (owners, operators, compliance leaders)
* Close new business across multiple IDU product lines
* Work closely with SDRs who are sourcing, qualifying, and booking meetings for you
* Prospect strategically into high-priority accounts when required
* Maintain a clean, accurate pipeline in HubSpot with strong forecasting discipline
* Provide feedback to SDRs and marketing on what messaging converts and why
* Sell into a market where regulation and compliance create urgency (not "nice to have" interest)


You'll crush this role if

* You have 2–5+ years of closing experience in B2B SaaS or complex solution sales
* You're confident running discovery and demos without a script
* You know how to qualify hard and disqualify fast
* You're comfortable with pace, volume, and accountability
* You care about results, not just activity
* You want to be part of a proper SDR‑AE sales engine


If you

* Prefer outbound or extension analysis over closing
* Need hand‑holding
* Blame the market
* Prefer "relationship management" over closing

This is not the role for you.
