Field Research Assistant for Transport and Infrastructure Study
As a field research assistant, you will play a crucial role in collecting valuable data for a transport and infrastructure study in Perth. Your primary responsibility will be to engage pedestrians and cyclists on Boorloo Bridge to complete short iPad-based surveys.
Key tasks include:
* Approach and interact with pedestrians and cyclists to invite them to participate in the survey.
* Answer questions and provide information to participants as needed.
* Track responses and report daily progress to ensure timely completion of the project.
Requirements include:
* Current enrollment in a university program (preferably UWA, Curtin, ECU, Murdoch, or Notre Dame).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable approaching people in public spaces.
* Reliability, enthusiasm, and strong attention to detail are essential for this role.
* Availability to work during September across varied shifts is required.
This position involves working outdoors in public areas and occasional travel to East Perth during shift times.
