Why do we need you?
The HR Compliance Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the department in all aspects of HR compliance, ensuring the company adheres to relevant labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
This includes monitoring and maintaining compliance programs.
The incumbent will provide day-to-day support to the department and collaborate with various HR teams and departments.

Regulatory HR Compliance: Support the HR Compliance Manager to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
Stay updated on legislative changes and advise on necessary policy or procedural updates.
Coordinate and oversee the completion of required actions resulting from legislative changes.
Conduct regular audits of HR practices, procedures, and records to identify non-compliance areas.
I-9 & E-Verify Support: Oversee the electronic I-9 & E-Verify program for North America.
Provide daily support to HR teams and troubleshoot issues.
Conduct weekly compliance audits.
Manage 50+ business traveler I-9s and assign over 170 reverification events annually, ensuring timely completion.
Compliance Programs: Assist in managing daily operations of various outsourced compliance programs including background checks, employee verification, unemployment compensation, WOTC, and data reporting programs.

HR Education and Training: Support the delivery of training programs on compliance topics, including I-9 procedures.
Train managers and employees on new or updated policies and procedures.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all HR compliance activities.
Prepare regular compliance reports for senior management, highlighting risks and outcomes.
Ensure documentation complies with legal standards and is audit-ready.
Is this job for you?
Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred.
2-3 years of experience in HR compliance.
Ability to follow established procedures and work instructions, with flexibility for deviations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, with high integrity and accuracy.
Capacity to handle a high volume of work efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and error prevention.
Ability to develop positive working relationships and communicate courteously.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with sound decision-making capabilities.
