The role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker / Structural Steel Fabricator to join our team based in Botany, NSW.
This is a hands-on role involving both workshop fabrication and on-site steel installation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fabrication of structural steel and custom metalwork in our Botany workshop.
* On-site installation and erection of structural steel as required.
* Interpret shop drawings and perform marking, cutting, drilling, tapping, assembly and grinding in accordance with specifications.
* Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in accordance with WHS regulations.
About You
* Minimum 2+ years' experience in structural steel fabrication and site installation.
* Strong welding experience (MIG, TIG and Stick).
* Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
* Ability to accurately interpret engineering and shop drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
* Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
* Good communication skills in English.
Requirements:
* Valid driver's licence.
* White Card .
* Boom Lift Ticket (desirable).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 – $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 50 per week
