Integrated Solutions Systems Administrator

The Role
The Integrated Solutions Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, and controlled change of CEWA's business applications and supporting platforms. This includes core systems, integrated third‐party applications, and newly introduced solutions. The role supports applications including Paperly, Wonde, Power Platform solutions, and other current and future systems, and may also assist with configuration of Dynamics 365 CE‐based solutions where required.
Primary Accountabilities
Systems Administration & Configuration
* Administer, configure and maintain CEWA business applications and platforms, including SaaS solutions.
* Apply consistent administration and governance practices across multiple applications, regardless of platform or vendor.
* Engage with vendors to understand configuration options, platform capabilities, limitations, and upcoming changes.
* Assist with configuration of Dynamics 365 CE‐based solutions where required, under the guidance of specialist and development roles.
* Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of Level 3 and above issues.
Requirements Capture & Change Support
* Manage and deliver project work related to system enhancements, implementations, and integrations, including requirements gathering, solution design, and change management.
* Support the assessment of change impacts across systems and processes.
* Coordinate user verification and sign‐off to ensure changes meet business expectations before release.
Testing & Release Coordination
* Support the development and maintenance of test scripts for supported systems.
* Coordinate and support testing activities for configuration changes, system updates, and new implementations.
* Assist in the execution of testing and regression testing.
* Support the controlled movement of changes through environments and into production in line with agreed change and release practices.
* Act as a technical lead for allocated projects, collaborating with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to deliver system improvements and integrations.
* Assist with onboarding of new systems, schools, or user groups, including configuration.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
* Contribute to internal knowledge bases to support consistent support and administration practices.
* Support training and knowledge transfer.

Selection Criteria
A. ESSENTIAL:
* Prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties.
* Substantial technical experience in administering, configuring, and supporting business applications, including SaaS or cloud‐based platforms.
* Proven ability to lead and deliver project work across multiple systems, including requirement gathering, solution design and implementation.
* Experience developing and maintaining test scripts and supporting testing for system changes, updates, or new implementations.
* Advanced troubleshooting and problem‐solving skills for complex system issues.
* Demonstrated experience supporting controlled changes through environments and into production.
* Strong aptitude for learning new systems quickly and working confidently with unfamiliar applications and vendors.
* Developed communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with support staff, specialists, developers, vendors, and business stakeholders.
* Experience maintaining system configuration documentation and contributing to shared knowledge bases or support materials.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development.
B. HIGHLY DESIRABLE:
* Experience working with Microsoft technologies such as Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), or related business platform.
* Completion of, or demonstrated ability to work towards, relevant certifications such as Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant (PL‐200), Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant certifications (MB‐230, MB‐240, MB‐280).
* Experience working within, or supporting, education or large complex organisations.
* Experience leading or supporting system implementation and integration projects, including configuration, testing, and user readiness activities.
