Position Description With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Credit Team Leader to join their team. Your duties will include but not be limited to the following: Manage a team of 8 staff Manage the credit function on national scale Lead end to end credit, collections and debt management activities Facilitate training and up-skilling within the team Implement new strategies to increase efficiencies Conduct continuous due diligence on credit processes Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders Analyse and provide accurate creditors and debtors reporting Key Responsibilities: Full function credit control Responsibility for a mixed ledger of clients including major and smaller accounts Daily banking and allocations Monthly reconciliations Month-end reporting Inbound queries Customer refunds Managing internal and external collection processes and partnering with a third party collections agency as well as maintaining that relationship. Managing a team and dealing with escalations. Offering support and guidance to junior members, utilising leadership experience and skills to reinforce a positive work culture.
