About the role
Lighthouse Christian College is seeking a passionate and skilled Brass teacher to assist in Training Band and our Year 5 Band curriculum on Tuesdays from 7:45am – 1:00pm.
There is also an opportunity to teach individual and small group lessons to students across the primary and secondary school. These may be conducted on Tuesday afternoons or an alternate day during the week.
Candidates must hold a current Working with Children Check before commencing employment.
Commencement date: as soon as possible
About You
We are seeking teachers who:
* Have tertiary qualifications in Music (completed or currently in progress)
* Demonstrate expertise on Trumpet, Trombone, or Euphonium
* Are actively involved in a Christian church and supportive of the College's Christian ethos
* Demonstrate good communication and organisational skills
* Have a passion for teaching and nurturing students of varying abilities
* Hold current VIT registration or a Working with Children Check
